This figurine is hand made of plaster, covered with wood stain, varnished and kilned at the high temperature. It personifies the Old Slavic Goddess Lada which was the mother of everything and maintained harmony in the Universe. The figure of Lada was given to the woman as to the keeper of home warmth and to the mother of family.
