This beautiful Easter egg is painted in Lemkiv style. It is characterized with simplicity and laconism of ornament. The pattern is applied to a hollow chicken egg with the use of a pin and hot wax. To create the pattern of different colors the egg was dipped into aniline paints of different colors. Black color of this Easter egg is symbolic. It means secret. Black background of the pysanka reveals the power of other colors as dark helps to understand the light.
