This Easter egg is created using the technique of Lemkiv painting. This technique originates in Central Ukraine among the Lemky folk. Such painting is characterized with simplicity of a pattern. Such the ornament is created with the use of a special pin and applied to the surface of a hollow chicken egg with the use of hot wax and aniline dyes of different colors.
Such handmade Easter egg can be created in different colors.
