Handmade motanka doll is made using seamless technique. This is a traditional Ukrainian doll that symbolizes maternal care. From the ancient times it has to be placed on the shelf above the head. It was believed that Bereginya protected against evil forces and evil eye. The doll is made of flax and natural fabrics. Its suit is decorated with handmade embroidery.
