Handmade motanka doll is made of flax threads and natural fabrics. It is dressed in traditional Ukrainian suit, decorated with handmade embroidery. From ancient times motanka dolls long served as home amulets. They were placed in a prominent place, it was believed that the doll could protect the house from evil eye and spoilage.
