This is a copy of the ancient Ukrainian icon Hodegetria made on the wooden basis with primer with the use of acrylics and craquelure varnish. The copy is made in compliance with Byzantine style and traditions. It is considered the first Hodegetria has been painted by Luke the Evangelist. It is a protector of all travelers.
