This handmade pysanka is made of an egg, coated with paraffin, painted with wax and aniline dyes. The ornament was applied with hot wax and then the egg was dipped in paints. Deep red color on the pysanka is a symbol of life, good and joy. Black color symbolizes mystery and strangeness.
