Doll motanka is made of bast and flax. It is decorated with wooden beads, coins and sacred cross made of acrylic yarns. Doll is specially designed without a face, with embroidered cross. Traditionally people embroidered cross instead the face because they believed that evil spirits can live in dolls with faces.
