Description and characteristics of the product
Motanka is made of cotton and linen fabric and filled with cotton wool. Women used to make "Veppsian doll" of old clothes without scissors and needle in order to make a life of a baby "not cut and not stitched". Doll was placed in cot before birth of a baby to warm it up. After a birth of a baby people hung it over a cot to protect a baby from corruption.
