Wedding dolls are made of 28 coils of linen cord, decorated with silk ribbon and ryshnik made of linen. In ancient times people called such dolls couple "nerazluchniki" ("inseparables"). Such dolls were presented to newlyweds for wedding in order their marriage to be firm.
