Handmade pysanka is a traditional Ukrainian souvenir for the light Easter holiday. The Slavs present such items to each other as a wish of good and wellbeing from the ancient times. Pysanka is made on the basis of a hollow ostrich egg and decorated with ornaments. The patterns are made using scratching and carving techniques. The ornament is made with hot wax. This pysanka was also dipped into aniline dyes.
Painted ostrich egg can be made in different color palettes to your order.
