This beautiful hanging decor item is made from silk and metallized threads using an ancient Japanese Temari technique. Temari – traditional and very ancient decoration which was made in Japan. Originally such balls were made from scraps of old kimonos by mothers and grandmothers for their children. Now it is a form of applied art that has a great number of admirers not only in Japan, but also all over the world.
