This is a hanging decor item in Temari's east style. The history of such Temari balls dates back several centuries. At the end of the 8th century they were used as balls for playing in noble houses of Japan. Decoration of the balls had been becoming more and more sophisticated and gradually turned into the aristocracy art. Noble ladies competed in the invention of more and more complicated and entangled patterns. Now decorators from all over the world use Temari for creation of east style in interior design. The product is made by hand from fabric and decorated with silk and metallized threads.
