This handmade pysanka is created on the basis of a hollow ostrich egg. That is why it is very fragile. Treat this egg carefully. Easter egg is decorated with a magnificent ornament. It represents the girls that are going to celebrate Easter. The ornament is made using two techniques: waxing and scratching. The main pattern was painted on the egg with hot wax and a special tool. Then the egg was dipped into aniline dyes. The most thin and delicate elements of the ornament are scratched with the use of metal edge.
