This Easter egg is painted with the use of hot wax and a pin manually. The colors are added with the use of aniline dyes. Every color in egg painting has its meaning. Red egg is a symbol of resurrection and joy of life. Pysanka decorated in red color palette is traditionally presented to just married as a wish of happy marriage.
